Just put my new DIY moisturizer on my legs... its a bar made from cocoa butter, coconut oil, and beeswax. That's it. For some reason after putting it on, I'm starting to get clusters of little pinkish bumps on my leg. Does anyone know what the reason is, and/or what I can do to get rid of them? Thanks :)

Hmm I'm not really sure, I think I've got the same thing on my legs a few times after shaving but I was told that it was from my razor being too dull... Maybe yours is an allergic reaction? Do you know if you're allergic to any of those things?

Unless you shaved, the only thing it could be is an allergic reaction unfortunately. Gently wash it off and apply some regular lotion.

Bummer. These things separately never seemed to cause an allergic reaction, so I am not sure what would cause it...

Oh! Jacqlyn, I think you're right. I purified my own beeswax (dad was a beekeeper) and maybe I didn't purify it thoroughly enough. If there was any dirt left in the wax maybe that clogged the pores a bit?

All ingredients you listed are comedogenic ☺

I recommend replacing cocoa butter ( which is the highest ) with shea butter, and instead of coconut oil which is moderately comedogenic with a non-comedogenic oil/mildly comedogenic oil like argan, rosehip, almond, jojoba, avocado, sunflower, or castor oil.

Ok. Thanks Kitty!
