Malacca is sort of a blue/green/brown shift, so I paired it with a deep brown shade in the crease and on the lower lashline, and no eyeliner.
I used:
Nars Malacca all over the lid
Too Faced Country Palette, shade Dolly, in the crease and on the lower lashline
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Per-fekt Lash Perfection Gel
Dior Diorshow Precision Brow Styler
So please, ladies, I'd love to hear how to improve. Any questions or comments are also welcome :)

Is it gray, hope I don't get it wrong..?

I'd say some winged eyeliner, maybe some false lashes?
Jul 25, 2014
Lauren G.
I honestly like it the way it is. It doesn't need a ton of eyeliner or even any at all.

Hannah K.
Actually it's brown/blue/green, not grey. It's a pretty strange color. Maybe I'll try a darker shade in the corner. And Tiffany thanks but no winged liner :) I'll see if I have any falsies I like!

Really, Lauren? It just looks so plain to me, I guess...I don't have any eyeliner on, maybe it just feels weird to have only one color? Oy. Maybe I'm just a strange person :)

Lauren G.
Haha that could be the case. Idk I just like it. Maybe add another color on the brow bone and blend it all together but I don't think it needs falsies. I like it as a pretty, casual look.

Light a lighter champagne kinda color or just beige-y?
Jul 25, 2014
Lauren G.
Hmm I think champagne would go nicely but if you want a more casual, laid-back look, then beige

I'll see what I can do, thanks :)

@ Lauren why do you tell your opinion in such a way that seems you were keeping in mind mine n Tiffany's opinion.. Or It's your own opinion? :)

I would darken up the crease more and blend out a bright blue shadow (like something from the Electric Palette) on the lower lash line.
What a gorgeous shadow though!!

Angel, Lauren was stating her own opinion, and I don't believe it was offensive or intended to be offensive in any way :)
Thanks Emily, I'll think about it, maybe Gonzo would go...? Hmmmm.

I was thinking Fringe!

Hmmmm I'll have to check, maybe layered they would look cool...like Malacca over Fringe?

I think adding a deep purple in the outer corner would be pretty or a dark green. I looked up that color online and it's super gorg! I don't think I'd wanna add eyeliner just cause it would take away from the main color. I would smudge out the lower lash line a bit more and add a second color for more dimension, maybe add a black liner to the water line, and I don't know if it's the lighting, but I don't really see the crease color in the bottom right picture. I would add more and blend it a little more. I would also add a brow highlight and inner corner highlight. But that's just my thoughts. Go you for having that color though! (:

Uhh angel I have no idea what you said or what you mean? I was simply suggesting some ideas. I agree with Mercedes I think that color would look really good with plum and forest green too.
Jul 25, 2014
Hannah K.
Wow thanks Mercedes :) the crease color is a deep brown, it's sort of just under Malacca, so I understand that it's not really visible. It was sort of just supposed to be something to blend out Malacca with. Thanks so much, I'll definitely think about all that for next time :)

That one is just like the one shade in the wet n wild palette. When I use it I usually do what you did. Or do a smokey eye and place that just on the lid. Either way it looks nice on you.

Hannah K.
Thanks Diggie :) oooh a smokey eye with this...now I have to try that too!

Thanks for that recommendation, Jackie! It really works for me :)

Thanks Gen :) I tried for a dark crease, but I'll define it a bit more next time!

I love that color so much! I would just line the upper lashline with black pencil liner and then blend it upwards with a stiff brush! Waah tomorrow I'm leaving and I'm so agitated! Can't sleep!
