What do you think about Sephora and Ulta's own makeup brands? I never buy high end except for Clinique but both Sephora and Ulta seem to sell very reasonably priced makeup in their respective brands. I would love reviews on eye makeup especially but any kind would be great :)

Ulta has really good cosmetics from my personal experience. Not so sure about Sephora.

They are both having big sales on their cosmetics right now. I checked ulta.com reviews because I want some eyeliner and it has good reviews. Why not try some for $1 or $2.

Some things are ok but some are just not very pigmented
Or they don't last a very long time or they smudge easy!

Ulta's eyeliners and eyeshadows are pretty good in my opinion. Certain eyeshadow colours (mainly the lighter, matte colours) come off a little chalky and lack decent pigmentation, but the midtone, shimmery/glittery and darker shades are typically okay.

I have an ulta brand mascara, in an orange tube for volume! THE BEST MASCARA EVER! Not only does it volumize my lashes but gives them amazing length without looking clumpy or spidery. Stays put all day and kinda looks like I'm wearing false lashes, it was around $6 deff recommend it.
