Bb creams are like moisturizers with a bit of coverage. If you want a little bit of coverage, go with bb cream. If you want heavier coverage go with foundation.

Your skin looks really clear so I'd say stick with a bb cream just to give you that glow. However on occasions etc, foundation would be better to use as it gives you the full coverage you'd need.

Bb cream gives you a more even skin tone and comes is more as a lotion- foundation two in one. Foundation tends to cover up more blemishes. Bb creams are great for summer or more natural looking makeup.

You definitely can use it in place of your foundation or under it as a moisturizer/primer - bb creams are very versatile and act as an all-in-one moisturizer, coverage, primer, SPF and skin care benefits that are supposed to improve your skin over time - foundation just covers up imperfections and have a wide range of options but usually require a primer or moisturizer under it in order to help it to set and last longer but usually doesn't boast any additional skin care benefits like bb creams do.
