Hi girls! (:
My friend wants to color his very dark brown hair to a coppery auburn hair color but doesn't exactly know how to do so! I'm not exactly sure how to go about this either so I was just wondering what exactly are his options?! He would prefer not to do it at the salon.
Another friend of ours suggested to just buy boxed blonde dye because that's how she was able to go to a lighter auburn color (her hair is a light brown though) but I'm hesitant about doing that with his hair!
How exactly would you go about coloring your hair at home if you were to do this? Would we have to bleach it or could we possibly skip the bleach?
Help and tips would be greatly appreciated! (:

Depending on how light or dark he wants it depends on whether he'll need proper bleach or just a prelightener but I'd use the Nordic blonde prelightener to lift his hair to more of an orange shade before doing any dying.
