Hi, I got my eyes on the Revlon Whipped foundation but I never had a whipped or a mousse like foundation before so I'm hoping one of you lucky folks can answer the question for me?

It's not rude at all, you're just stating that you have a strong disapproval of the product. I can see how someone with oily skin could hate it; I swatched it, the other day and I couldn't get the greasy feeling off my hand.

Yes super greasy I seriously hated everything about thanks foundation. it feels super heavy and I seriously could not get past the smell.

My cousin uses it. She has dry skin and loves the revlon one.
But I used it (also dry skin) and it's fine, but I didn't like the finish or feel of it, it was just weird lol

I have oily skin and I actually really liked it. I liked the finish! I actually wore it to my sisters wedding last June and it wore perfectly fine :)

It's very heavy. It's clung to my dry spots really badly. My top complaint is just how seriously thick and heavy it was on my face. So uncomfortable!!

I have oily skin and love it. I've also heard others with oily skin say it really works for them. It is kinda thick but that really helps it from going anywhere. When I really want my foundation to last I'll use the Revlon whipped.

I love it, its my favorite full coverage drugstore foundation for my oily skin. yeah its heavy so I don't wear it for like hot summer days but its great for photography or a full face of makeup. it will keep you so matte literally all day long:) I've used it for forever, and it looks best when applied with a beauty blender or beauty blender dupe.

Revlon Colorstay Whipped, I love it.!! It sure is super thick but going a little bit at a time works just fine. I apply it w/ a damp beauty blender &&' throughout the day I swear it gets better. I love it, one of my top go to foundations for my oily skin.

I have extremely oily skin and I absolutely love this foundation. With Smashbox photofinish primer underneath- it's my holy grail.

And it does work best when applied with a damp beauty blender.

I couldn't get past the smell of the whipped! It was too strong for me, and I could still smell it awhile I was wearing. I also didn't like how heavy it felt. (combo skin) I didn't like the regular color stay either. I tossed both of them.

I'm glad someone notice the smell Jaime. I just couldnt gt pass it

Maybe we both got a bad batch! But I'm not planning on repurchasing it to make sure it wasn't! Lol

I have the Revlon Whipped Foundation for dry skin and I didn't like it either. It didn't sit well on my face and looked cakey. Also, it rubbed off quickly in a lot of areas. It does kind of smell unusual for a foundation, but it wasn't something that I noticed or was bothered by.

Anyone here who has used both the revlon whipped and the revlon colorstay liquid foundation (oily/combi skin)? wts the verdict among these two?
Jul 20, 2014
Larissa T.
Taiba F. Girl I've used both &&' I love it, I have very oily skin. But this foundation, it just depends as to what you like. The whipped is a thicker consistency but works great if applied a little at a time &&' w/ a damp beauty blender.

I've tried both as well. And like Larissa said it depends what you like. I typically like using the Revlon colorstay during spring and summer and the whipped in the fall and winter just because the whipped is too heavy for me for the hot summer months.
