Neutrogena oil free moisturizer for combo skin is amazing!! it will keep you matte when applied before foundation but still set your foundation with a powder

There a couple things you can try but oil production is genetic and you can't just turn off the oil permanently - so anything you try will have to be reapplied throughout the day - so try anything that says it mattifies (primer, moisturizer, foundation, setting powder, setting spray) if everything is working towards the same goal it helps - also try blotting sheets or blotting powder to stay matte throughout the day.

Babypowder. This sounds odd, I know haha! But I have EXTREMELY oily skin, and when I put a little bit of baby powder on my face and gentally rub it in, it just soaks in all the oil. When I then rinse the baby powder off, my face is oil-free! Just a very inexpensive and perfect way to get rid off any oils on your face.

I have oily skin as well, and us oily skin girls will always have the problem of our oil getting through our makeup. It sucks but you might need a translucent powder to always carry around like Neutrogena Shine Control to blot any oil when you feel oily. Also try coconut oil as your skincare routine, I've been religiously doing it every night for a year now and I've seen a difference in my oil production.
