My hair is dead straight & doesn't have any volume. I'd like to curl it but the wand I have now only leaves curls for an hour at the most. have any of you tried the curl secret? or what do you think is the best for straight and heavy hair? :-)

My sister has really thick hair and it doesn't hold a curl well on it's own. So I'll curl a piece of her hair and while it's on the iron I'll spray my hand with hairspray and let of the curl and hold it in my hand for 10 seconds and then let go and it lets her curls last WAY longer

Also my favorite curler is from chi, but revlon curlers are a cheaper option.

Hot tools are tried and true! They aren't the cheapest, but they're not super expensive either. I'd definitely put down that bit of extra money because better quality irons curl better and cause less damage!
