I have naturally curly hair and I love straightening my hair, lots of people tell me they love it. My hair has tons of natural volume because it's ridiculously thick.. I want to give it a bit more but every time I backcomb it, it looks funny. Any tips on how to make it equal and flattering without making it look too big?

Hmm, usually i like to take my straightener and get as close to my roots, and curve outwards to my ends. Fix it to how you like it, and then hairspray it (:

I think it just depends on how long and how many times you run it through your hair. I do it about maybe 2-3 times to get a little bit of volume!

My hair goes down a little past my nipples. :p lol and I usually use the backcombing powder, I find it makes it stay longer.

If you don't like the straightener method, i have the got2b POWDER'ful powder that is ahh-mazing. Just sprinkle in your hands or hair and tousle it all around your roots and hair. Instant boost of volume! (:
