Hey beautifuls! Welcome to beautylish :)
The general rules of the site should be to your bottom right on the laptop and on the app if you click into the New Moderators Thread (First one) it will list them at the bottom. It's always best to read them.
This place isn't like the rest of the internet and might take you a while to adapt to the way we speak to each other. Everyone is respectful and polite and tries to be as helpful as possible. Feel free to ask questions or answer the ones you feel you can to the best of your ability :)
Here are some 'non-said rules' that might help you
Non-Said Rules:
-Don't use someone else's advice without crediting them
-Same goes for pictures
-Don't make a load of threads everyday
-If someone takes the time to help you, thank them (even if you don't agree)
-Read the thread and all the comments before commenting
-If you're repeating/ saying the same thing as someone else has said in the thread it is best to say I agree with _name_ and then add on from there
-If you can see that 4 people have already said something like 'this isn't a smoky eye' or 'Bronzer isn't for contouring' don't say it lol
-Ignore and report someone who's being rude

The four moderators are Alma, Hannah, Jaqcueline and Kitty. I can link their profiles if you want to talk to them. Alma and Jacqueline are professional makeup artists and are amazing at answering questions, Hannahs amazing at hair colouring and colourful makeup and Kitty has an unbelievable amount of knowledge in skincare. There are many many other professionals and knowledgable people willing to answer any questions as best they can (obviously related to beauty, off topic threads aren't allowed), and if you don't want to be a vocal part of this community and prefer to step back and just read everything thats perfectly cool too :)
You can click into peoples personal pages and look through their photos and ask them questions directly, watch tutorials in the video section, read articles in the editorial section, review in the makeup section and look and like photos in the photo section. You can keep up with threads you're following by clicking the little arrow by talk and sliding down to the following category. You can follow threads by clicking the little heart left to the comment part or by commenting :)
You can report people by clicking the report button on the right of that comment or you can take a screenshot and send it to the Team at help@beautylish.com
This community is a great place that will take over your life and help you in so many ways if you give it a chance :)
