How to prevent acne scarring!

So most of my acne is of the bumpy/clogged pores variety on my forehead, but once in a while I'll get a bigger, deeper one by my mouth and on my cheek that may or may not come to a head. They get pretty red, and almost always leave a red spot/scar that takes a long time to go away. Is there any way to prevent it from forming a blemish like this?

No it's just post inflammatory hyper pigmentation it isn't a scar just the after part of a pimple use sunscreen and it should fade by itself
