Oh my, 10% seems very excessive to me. Like, way too high a concentration. Most face wash and similar products contain only 2% of either benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. Is this being prescribed by a doctor??

It's actually really, really drying, and can actually cause acne, having that strong of a percentage. I'd go with 5% at the MOST, but make sure you moisturize like crazy after. I actually recommend 2.5%, personally.

I'm going to the doctor soon & my friend told me to ask for the gel. I also agree that it sounds very excessive thats why I thought I would ask 😣 I won't be bringing it up at my appointment. Thank you ladies so much!

Well I hope you find a better method of clearing your acne :) I definitely do recommend talking to your doctor about steps you can take; not necessarily that one but I'm sure there are other options that would be worth looking into.

Personally, my skin can handle 10% and it has really cleared up my acne. I don't find it drying since I apply over my moisturizer. But everyone's skin is different. What works for me may not work for you. :)
