For mascara wiggle the wand at the base of your lashes. It helps keep them separated and not clumpy. Bb cream is good for beginners too.

I would start out with BB cream (I like the garnier one) for your face and use some translucent powder to set it (I like Palladio rice powder) mascara is easy to use and maybelline has the best drugstore ones. If you want to start with eyeshadows I'd start with neutrals and browns/golds. Wet and Wild have some awesome 8 pan palettes, I love "comfort zone". Maybe some tinted lip balm or gloss, cover girl smoochies are great and the colors aren't to bold or pigmented.

I agree with Alexis C. YouTube some beauty gurus and they do help. They helped me that's where I learnt from aswell as my mum and sister.

I love the maybelline BBB cream it's really easy and natural looking, if you want to invest in a shadow palette I would get the Naked palette by urban decay. great lash mascara is really great and easy to work with
