For a lip liner use nightmoth (its like a very deep purple) the lip color can be ruby woo from mac, I love fading in bright reds at the edges all the time and thats what I do. you can get a variety of tones by the lipliner you choose if you want the gradient to be more warm opt for a dark brown pencil, I like a cool effect (like the pic) be sure to blend!
