Ok, I am doing my makeup for my wedding and this is the look I want.

Now I want to be able to do it with my eyes closed!

Tips, tricks and words of wisdom please!

Hmm which palettes do you have?

I like in AU so no naked palette for me :( I have the smashbox full exposure palette, stila's palette in the cream colour and a estee Lauder 20 shadow palette...

I think the key to this look is blending. It sounds like you have the shadows, so just loads of practice. As far as the liner goes, try using pencil first, then trace over it with liquid so you get comfortable with the shape and feel.

Sounds like StacyAnn has it covered! You'll need plenty of transition shades. Just note that this picture is edited.
Personally, I don't like it when the eyeliner is that thick in the inner corner, I'd suggest tapering it. it looks great with your eyes closed, but when they're open it's a whole different story. I'll do it right now for you and post so you can see what I mean :)

Okay here we go. see the inner corner? The top pictures are done like in the picture, it looks good closed but when you open your eye there's this "clumpy end" in the inner corner. The bottom image shows what I'm talking about when I say 'tapered'.

Anyway, my main advice would be to avoid harsh glitter (in pictures it doesn't translate well at all) and mainly find an eyeshadow look that is REALLY flattering on you. Another suggestion is to do this look every day! Practice, like StacyAnn said!!

Breeze I totally understand what you mean with the tapering in the corner
Have you used in your pics a black or brown liner?

StacyAnn would you say use the normal technique, transition colour, crease, outer corner then inner colour? Also, has this person put extra colour on the middle of the lid?

Looks like the normal technique, with a bit of the inner corner color applied mid lid for extra highlight/depth. I'll see if I can't duplicate and confirm!
