Have been watching YouTube videos all night and for some reason eyelash curlers seem quite interesting to me right now. I have a few questions though before I go searching for one!

Does it break lashes off at all, or make them sparse in any way, etc?
I have pretty long lashes naturally, how would an eyelash curler make my makeup routine any better? If you girls understand lol I hope this makes sense! How much of a difference do they actually make for you girls? 🙌💜

Heat your eyelash curler with your hair dryer beforehand really curls your lashes.

I've been using an eyelash curler for 6 years now they're painless, transportable, they don't break eyelashes off, it has a squishy cushion wear your eyelashes rest, it's a reliable product. Just make sure you clean it of after using it with mascara!

Well, I hardly use eyelash curlers ever because my lashes are long as well and curl nicely on their own with a little mascara, but they do make a world of difference when you use them!

I've never noticed breakage or sparseness when using them, unless you grasp down roughly on your lashes then probably!

Since they're long, they'll make them curl up more and look even longer! I like using eyelash curlers on special occasions for that reason.

They make a big difference as they curl upward.

Was I repetitive? Sorry! Lol

My lashes are long too. I sometimes use my sisters... honestly it doesn't to much for me because lashes are naturally curled but its worth a try. and if you use it correctly there is no reason for you lashes to tear off.

I use the elf curler.
Pros:
-Doesn't break my lashes or make them sparse
- my lashes are naturally long, but very straight. Curling them makes them more noticeable.
-pretty easy to use

Cons
-curling my lashes gives them a kind of unnatural 'bend' to them. I wish they made curlers that curled lashes with a more natural rounded curve instead of the harsher angle.

So all in all I like using eyelash curlers, but gently and sparingly as I don't really like the harsh angle it bends my lashes at.

As long as it has the pad on it, your eyelashes will be safe. I have decently long lashes too but they grow straight so curling them, well curls them up so you can really see the length. I could live without my eyelash curler but without it, you couldn't really see them.

I really love my eyelash curler! If you have long lashes it will give them a better cult to make them appear fuller. It's also a great tool to transport instead if your mascara. They don't break off your lashes unless used improperly. Never pull only clamp down and release. Pulling can pull out your lashes. Curly before mascara not after; after mascara can cause breakage. And NEVER use a curler that is missing the little black pad! Without that little pad you can cut your lashes off! It's really just common sense stuff! Also, clean it to stop from possible eye infection and you can heat it with a hair dryer to help hold the curl better; especially if you aren't wanting to put mascara on that day! It's a great addition to your makeup routine!

They are really great I've been meaning to get a new one because I used to have the elf one and it broke because I stepped on it 😳 but it did wonders for my eyelashes when I used it

Thanks so much girls! All these answers were super helpful, I think I'll get one and give it a go, I'm just looking for some more volume apposed to length with one eye lol! 😂💜

I use the Sephora brand eyelash curler and I love it. it's supposed to be a dupe for the Shu Uemura one. My lashes are naturally long and have a nice curl too, but a curler is a real game changer! It never broke off any of my lashes or pinched. I also use it when I don't want to wear mascara. It's awesome!

Its always great to find what lash curler works best for you.Width and band as well as structure come into play. Here is a picture of mine showing the difference in structure between kevyn A, Billy B, Shiseido, and a dollar brand.

Can you see the difference? I will add that kevyn and billy b have been my go to for awhile now.

Your welcome Shaye, the kevyn also curl's the bottom lashes as well when you flip it down.

That would be a definite bonus! My lashes are generally everywhere when I wake up lol :( that sounds like it'd help.

It won't bend your lashes unnaturally if you curl them correctly. don't hold the curler straight up but bend it at more of an angle..if that makes sense.

The Shu and kevyn go way back.In my opinion kevyn is a bit more Curved outward if that makes sense.Billy's I love because it fits perfectly for my eye shape with no fuss and is pinch proof and I tried to pinch lol You can't go wrong with trying all out to find what works best for your use since we all have different eye shapes and the performance for all is lashtastic!  :-)

I'm with you Sarah,I have small lashes as well and I'm completely satisfied with Billy and Kevyn curler for that reason they give that kick to my small lashes lol By the way the Kevyn Mascara also is a must have when dealing with small lashes the tube is like the old school mascara tubes with a medal base and keeps the mascara from clumping the spooly with the perfect width and separate with a clean finish.

Here's my before/after. left is before, right is after, in bottom pic the eye on the right (my left eye) is curled, while the one on the left is uncurled. My natural curl kinda dips down as you see. Everything is without mascara.

I have huge thick lashes that have a natural curl, but I use the shu emura eyelash curler for special occasions when I really want my eyelashes to stand out and be the focus.
