Best way to clean make up brushes?

I use the same shampoo i use on my hair . If its good for my hair its definitely good for my brushes :)

i use a combination of oil and dish soap. the dish soap to clean them and the oil to soften the brush. (use about 75 % soap and 25% oil). this is a very cheap and easy way to clean them. just place the mixture in a dish a rub your brushes into it, cleaning them off under warm water. you'll see the product left on the brushes come right off. make sure you fully get all the soap and oil out! then place them on a towel to dry overnight.
