I have green eyes and i use greys, blacks, most shades of neutrals, but i stay away from anything too orangey like terra-cotta because it clashes with my hair, purples look nice and most greens. I also love metallic golds but i stay away from metallic silver just by personal choice. I avoid pinks and blues at all costs, pink makes your eyes look sore and blue is just too clashy. If you can find a green that is the exact shade of your eyes you cant go wrong.

I've always beleived you go opposite on the color wheel to make a color pop. So for green eyes that would be purple tones.
