I love the Palladio rice powder, it doesn't leave a cast. The NYC one is nice too. I have to agree though I didn't like rimmel it was to cakey and mine had like micro shimmer in it.

Not that I've ever noticed no. It does a good job at controlling oil and makes the skin look airbrushed tbh.
