Where did you buy it?
maybe from washing it

Like Aide said where did you get it from? But it's normal for writing on brushes to fade especially if you use it all the time. I have plenty brushes from Sendona Lace where the name & number has worn off from using so much.

I think you can use clear nail polish to seal in the writing.

That's totally normal. I have a few sigma brushes and that happened to mine. I ordered them directly from the sigma site too

That happens with almost all brushes especially if you use them a lot! You've had that brush a long time and I would expect for the writing to begin to wear off because the oils of your hands can break down the chemicals in the paint or whatever was used to make the writing. Also, if you wash your brushes a lot the writing comes off more quickly. I'd advise putting clear nail polish over the writing to protect it if you don't want the writing to rub off. Also, where did you get the brush from? It should be authentic if you got it from the Sigma site or from somewhere reputable. I might be more worried if it was from a random website or private seller on amazon.
