You're so lucky. I wish I didn't have to live in student accommodation but thankfully its only for a year. My boyfriends giving out to me because I'm on forums asking about the place, he thinks I'm 'worrying' myself before I even get there. I just like to be prepared haha.

I'm a hoarder but my room has a walk in closet so no worries :) but yeah, I write all of my lists out by hand and I'm ordering things and thinking about what I'm going to need...

I'm the exact same way don't worry. I'm not moving out till half way through september and I'm already buying and planning. And I love the lists to be physical not typed haha oh and vaccum bags are your friend if you're a clothes hoarder like me haha

That's true, I actually already ordered my favorite candle for my room :) I have a train case and a desk for my makeup, should work out okay! Thanks!

Makeup organizers! You need a place for all that glam to go. Def don't want to be searching for that one palette when you're running late.
In my house I can't live without my favorite scented candles! Mmm.

Thanks Caitriona. I've been doing this whole freaking out and overplanning thing for the last two years, I feel like by now I should have some semblance of a list or preparation...but alas, I fail. Thanks so much :)

I'm good on house supplies, I have two roommates who are already there :)

I'm just making a mental inventory for college too haha Most of my worry if shifting through my mountain of clothes and buying new shoes.
Try and get a 25 pack of toilet paper :) Other boring things include:
A bath mat/shower mat
Towels
A toothbrush and paste cup
A soap dispenser (Not needed but its a cute touch)
Sheets/pillow cases/ duvet cover/ mattress topper
Loofah/ shower caddy if you don't have an ensuite
I'd visit the place and see if you need a bathroom storage/ shelf thing
and a Shower speaker (luxury item but so worth it)

I've been living by myself for a good while now so if you want advice on other things you may need in various parts of the house let me know.

Not hours, school starts the 25th, I'm moving in a series of 3 trips, August 1-3, August 11-12 and August 22nd :) like I said. I stress easily, so I tend to overplan which is why I'm asking all of y'all :)

Hand sanitizer
bar soap
Hydrogen peroxide and band-aids, along with the medical cabinet ointments (I use arnica for aches, tea tree for zits, marigold for rashes and antibiotic cream for cuts)
Shaving gel and razor, waxing kit, epilator or hair removal cream.

Flip flops! Q-tips! glasses (or sunglasses) or contacts and liquid if you wear them.
Some essential books you always go to when in need maybe.
perfume, if you wear it.
Mousse, styling gel, hairspray, hair dryer and straightener.
your favorite movies
a beauty mask for your face.

You're going to be just fine :) This was a great idea then. I hope you remember the important things! off the top of my head...
I have to remember my medicine all the time
hair supplies (dye, clips, Bobby pins, hair ties, headbands, conditioner,mask...)
My special cherry pit pillow for those cold days or when I'm cramping - and while we're at it, tampons and pads and panty liners, along with an external intimate wash (no douching please)
Also, when I'm stressed, I get cystitis so I have to remember to drink A LOT of water.

Yeah, it's about 700 miles, a 10 hour car ride or 3 hour plane ride.

I know I can go without things, but I'd rather just have what I need so that I don't have to worry about going to get something on top of the first week of classes and stuff :) I stress out easily so I'm trying to stay ahead of the game so I have everything and don't have to worry!

I totally get it! is it really far from your actual home? just think that you can go without a few things, nobody will die right? and if you need anything, you can get it at the store and when you go back you'll have a replacement, because if you love it so much you'll get some use out of it :)

Thanks y'all :) I started college at 18, which is the norm in the US, and now I'm going into my third year :) It's just the first time I'll be living off campus, and I'm scared that I'll forget something I really need, you know?

We start university at like 18/19 that's the equivalent of college!

Lol I misunderstood your post then, we're either the same age or one year apart. I'm a 1993 :) But here we have 5 years of high school, start university a year later than you and our degree comes in 3 years, so next year should be my last! Anyway the Shea butter is such an amazing multitasker! I definitely recommend it for dry legs, lips, hands and feet! And as a face moisturizer in the winter, applied lightly.
