Hey y'all, I'm moving into a new house in about a month for college, and I'd love to know what your beauty essentials are so that I don't forget anything! I tend to make lists or piles of things like shower stuff, skincare, hair...that kind of thing. But like I said, I'd love to hear your lists of bathroom/beauty essentials to make sure that I don't forget anything. I'd love your help ladies! Thanks, y'all!

Body scrub, Victoria's secret body mist, lotion and roll on.

Lotion, mouthwash, toothpaste, floss. Definitely a body scrub. Leave-in creams for hair.

Body scrub is definitely on my list, as is perfume and body lotion, thanks :) Harlyn, what's emu oil? I was sort of looking for a generalized list of beauty products, but that sounds interesting.

All that's on my list, thanks Kaitlin :) I had forgotten mouthwash.

I use hair skin and nails vitamins and also minis of your fav products for your purse/travel?

Jul 22, 2014

Hannah K.

I don't believe in vitamins, but I'll definitely remember purse hand cream and chapstick, thanks :)

Oh my, are you just starting college now? I thought you were my age :) Anyway I'd say a good makeup remover, Shea butter and coconut oil. And eyebrow stuff lol...you don't need them though!

Nope, actually I'm going to be a junior, Breeze :) I'm 20. Thanks so much!

Lol I misunderstood your post then, we're either the same age or one year apart. I'm a 1993 :) But here we have 5 years of high school, start university a year later than you and our degree comes in 3 years, so next year should be my last! Anyway the Shea butter is such an amazing multitasker! I definitely recommend it for dry legs, lips, hands and feet! And as a face moisturizer in the winter, applied lightly.

We start university at like 18/19 that's the equivalent of college!

Thanks y'all :) I started college at 18, which is the norm in the US, and now I'm going into my third year :) It's just the first time I'll be living off campus, and I'm scared that I'll forget something I really need, you know?

I totally get it! is it really far from your actual home? just think that you can go without a few things, nobody will die right? and if you need anything, you can get it at the store and when you go back you'll have a replacement, because if you love it so much you'll get some use out of it :)

Yeah, it's about 700 miles, a 10 hour car ride or 3 hour plane ride.

I know I can go without things, but I'd rather just have what I need so that I don't have to worry about going to get something on top of the first week of classes and stuff :) I stress out easily so I'm trying to stay ahead of the game so I have everything and don't have to worry!

You're going to be just fine :) This was a great idea then. I hope you remember the important things! off the top of my head...
I have to remember my medicine all the time
hair supplies (dye, clips, Bobby pins, hair ties, headbands, conditioner,mask...)
My special cherry pit pillow for those cold days or when I'm cramping - and while we're at it, tampons and pads and panty liners, along with an external intimate wash (no douching please)
Also, when I'm stressed, I get cystitis so I have to remember to drink A LOT of water.

Flip flops! Q-tips! glasses (or sunglasses) or contacts and liquid if you wear them.
Some essential books you always go to when in need maybe.
perfume, if you wear it.
Mousse, styling gel, hairspray, hair dryer and straightener.
your favorite movies
a beauty mask for your face.

Thanks :) so far my list is like...

Excedrin
Advil
Sudafed
First aid kit

Shower gel
Loofah
Shave gel
Razors
Body lotion
Hand cream
Shampoo/conditioner
Hair mask
Toothbrush/toothpaste
A ton of hair junk...

Argh this is overwhelming.

But yeah, thanks so much :)

Breeze T.

Hand sanitizer
bar soap
Hydrogen peroxide and band-aids, along with the medical cabinet ointments (I use arnica for aches, tea tree for zits, marigold for rashes and antibiotic cream for cuts)

It's all good, just be aware that I'll probably email you my list later so you can double check it! Lol.

Breeze T.

You should! when are you leaving? if it's a matter of hours, how many?

Jul 22, 2014

Breeze T.

I might come up with more things too! better if it's more, no?

Not hours, school starts the 25th, I'm moving in a series of 3 trips, August 1-3, August 11-12 and August 22nd :) like I said. I stress easily, so I tend to overplan which is why I'm asking all of y'all :)
