How to bring out my dark brown eyes.

I don't like anything super dramatic, but I was wondering if you had any tips on how to bring out my eyes more? (ie: eyeliner, mascara or eyeshadow tips) like I said, I have dark brown eyes. I just want them to look more captivating :) thanks!

So, when you want to make your eyes pop, you should pick colors on the opposite side of the color wheel. In your case, that would be blue. So, any sort of bright blue (Urban Decay's Chaos eyeliner, anyone?) will make your eyes seem super dark and make the brown seem even brighter. It would also work with greens and blue toned purples :)

To bring out brown eyes, don't wear any dark brown or black eye makeup. Black closes the eye and makes everything in the eye area look the same shade. Try using shadows close to your skin type and also try a light brown-orange eyeshadow. What I find that really helps is applying brown shadow or smudged liner on your bottom lash line. Also try a gel mascara to set your brows instead of dark brows. And when you can, try a dark brown-natural brown mascara.

I've worn very subtle dark blue, turquoise or purple eyeliner on my top lash line, a thin enough line where it's just a tint. I've also used blue or purple mascara. I love it because it's just a subtle tint, I get comments all the time that my eyes look amazing in certain lighting and stuff. I have super dark brown eyes, that's what works for me! 😊
