Had no idea that this store is for, as the worker there put it "for the licensed cosmetology professionals only" and basically acted snobby that we didn't know we couldn't buy from there seeing as we aren't hair stylists...anyone else saddened/annoyed not to be able to shop here?? Idk I feel like they lose so much business

I don't have a comoprof but I do have Armstrong McCall and basically it's like a higher end Sally's beauty supply only open to licensed cosmetologist. They don't lose business because big name salons order product from them in bulk and cosmetologist buy the products at a discounted rate that way they can turn around and sell it. It's the same thing in Sally's you can't buy certain products unless you have a license. I don't know why it is the way it is but it's kinda like any other profession having its perks. It's not open to the public to me because then they lose money as well as salon owners and whomever makes commission from selling higher end products to clients.

This store doesn't sell in bulk, it's all regular sized stuff. Doesn't make sense. Oh we'll :P

I'm talking about where I live and the store I goto that is like a cosmoprof. Many stores do buy is bulk they put their order in once they go do inventory and order from places such as cosmoprof and Armstrong mcall that way they can get the products at the lowest price and sell it for a higher price. And I've never heard of a store that doesn't sell in bulk to cosmetologist. Just because you don't see thousands of bottles on the shelf doesn't mean there are not orders being fulfilled. I don't know where the salons in your area get there products from if they don't get it from sellers like cosmoprof I hope it's not Walmart. And specially when it comes to color salons do order in bulk they don't go shopping and just buy one box of color that makes no sense at all. I tried to help but oh we'll

My point was just that it doesn't make sense to only sell to "the professionals" and haha no they don't buy from Walmart. I just meant that they don't sell large bottles they sell small bottles that you or I would buy, not large like a company would.

Oh okay I thought you were saying I didn't make sense period. They sell bottles that you would buy at a salon. I can go in there and buy a bottle of Paul Mitchell for 7$ whereas if I were to buy it in a store for 20$ its all about money lol. And I get what yur saying about only selling to professionals but if you know someone with a license you can go in there and go crazy lol.
