Hourglass veil primer problems.

Good morning my fellow beautylishers. For a few weeks now my hourglass veil primer's consistency has changed. Instead of its usual light silky texture it's very watery. At first I figured the product had separated, so I gave it a good shake. Unfortunately, it was still pumping out watery. So I thought maybe it was the way I was storing it(I had it laying on its side in a makeup drawer.). So I set it upright, on my vanity. No avail, still super watery. I just repurchased this bottle a month ago so I'm hoping it's not expired. Maybe I got a lemon. The product is still performing. But I dislike the very watery texture on my face. Have you experienced anything like this? Any thoughts?

Mine does the exact same thing. :(

I've never actually used that primer but my gut instinct is that if it's changed consistency then it's expired.

If you've only had it a short while then I'd take it back to where you got it from and complain. I don't think it should go off that quickly.

You can check how long it's good for by looking for the little jar icon with a number on the packaging if you want an idea for how long it should last after opening.

@Becky J I had figured that was the case. I suppose I picked up a lemon. :) Thank you for your input I appreciate it. Luckily sephora is really good about returns.

Sephora will take it back. Especially if you want to swap it out for another. Mine definitely isn't that consistency.

I have the same primer. However, mine is not that texture. My best advice would be to give the bottle a really good shake. Or try "straining" the water out. You could also go to sephora before returning it to see if an employee there has any tips.

@ Sonya P. Not always! But it recently changed to very watery. I don't really like the primer to begin with. But for the 60$ spent, it's disappointing!
