So I have a bad habit of biting the skin around my nails and my nails themselves. Its usually when I get bored or nervous, but I want to have nice looking nails that arent bloddy around them.. I know gross.. any tips on how to break the habit?

Wear fake nails, chew gum a lot so you never have an urge to bite your nails, use a nail polish that tastes really bad on your nails so it'll make you not want to bite them, etc.

There are a lot of things you can do but the only thing that worked for me was telling one person and then haveing them look at my nails once a week. It makes you more self conscious of them and makes you want them to look nice. Therefore stopping yourself.

Use a base top nail polish and add garlic ( Not kidding ) make sure you cut the garlic in. Small pieces. Then add the garlic to the nail base polish

I got fake nails for a couple months. And then when I took them off they were long and lovely and I didn't have the urge to bite them anymore. Getting regular manicure will cut back on biting the skin around the nails.

Chew gum a lot or put hot sauce on your nails (or something you don't like)

Look at pictures with really nice long healthy nails and cool nail art and use it as an goal. I know it sounds stupid but it helped me loads to stop biting. I know it's a bit silly but will power and sheer want of stopping is the most important thing to stop biting your nails!
