Are we still upset about using the term gay. I am friends with a helluva lot of gays and guess what?? They use that term AND they roll their eyes at anyone who gets worked up about it. Chillax.

Now! To answer your question, try a haircut or even a badass color! Try experimenting with makeup. Go crazy! This is the year to do it. If I were still in public school, I'd be super crazy this year

Well actually some homosexuals do take offense to using the word gay in that sort of context. My mother is a lesbian and she actually takes great offense to it. I think it may just depend on the person. sorry I just had to respond to that because it actually bothered as to how some people are responding. I'm also not trying to offend any one at all.

I don't think it's the fact that she used it at all, it's more like she used it as a derogatory term. It just doesn't seem right to use someone's sexual orientation as something bad, you know?

That's true. I think it's mostly because bisexual or straight haven't been widely used as derogatory terms in pop culture.

To be fair I've had tons of über gay friends in my life and they've all used the word more often than anyone I've heard. haha. I mean, if it's not your personal sexual orientation, lighten up a bit! more often than not, actual homosexuals don't get offended at all.

Ugh...Saw something like this a few days ago (Not on this subject) But is it really that serious. Girls needs to lighten up a bit more. You didn't have to say she shouldn't say that and its HER MOUTH N HANDS. Don't get offended. I have a gay friend and I call him a faggot because he's MY little baby faggot. Nothing to fret over smh.

But to the people who took such great offense to the word is really in my opinion blowing it way out of you can tell I didn't mean anything by it so I don't see why everyone is getting all hyped up like calm down it's just a word I say all the time and people around me don't take offense
