Well, applying a lot of makeup can lead to cakey face, but I think you should be okay as you've at least used a primer & powder over top.

Make sure you exfoliate.
Only apply a small amount of foundation and put concealer over the spots you can still see. Lightly powder it using a brush and not the powder puff that comes with the powder because that usually makes it look cakey.

I'm just worried that my face will get cakey while I'm at work. I haven't worn this much makeup in a while, but my skin is breaking out super bad so I had to put a lot on to cover it...
Right now on my face I am wearing
-revlon colorstay foundation
-some concealer by Clinique
-revlon color stay powder
-Maybelline baby skin primer
