In a few weeks I'm getting my hair highlighted for the first time, but I have no idea what color to get? I'm thinking some sort of blonde color, but I don't want it to look too fake, but I definitely don't want it to look too natural either. Here's a picture of my natural hair color. Any suggestions? Pictures would be really helpful. Thanks!

I think I'd go more caramel. I've heard and noticed balayge looks a lot more natural if your interested. Highlights often look really fake when there are too many, because it looks like a layer of lighter color on the top of your head 🙈

Yeah I'd probably get them all over (like the bottom layer of hair too) so hopefully it wouldn't look too fake! 😁But I know what you mean

Yeah, just look at pictures of other highlights so you know whether you want thick, chunky highlights, or very thin ones. If you get them close to your hair shade the grow out won't be as obvious.
