; Lighter Skin?

Just a few weeks ago, I was fairly light skinned, however, due to certain circumstances, I've tanned.. a lot. And I must say, being this tanned doesn't suit me. Especially with my acne -.- so are there any different ways to achieve lighter skin? Thanks in advance : )
