Hello guys. I would like to hear opinions about Giorgio Armani Makeup in particular the foundation and primer. I'm thinking to buy their products, but I want first hear opinions before my purchase. Thanks.

I have the Maestro foundation. Love, love, love!! It drys down to a powder finish so only a light touch of powder is needed if setting powder is your thing. And over the course of the day it looks better and better with wear if that makes sense. The coverage isnt full but a cross between light/medium. If you have zero skin issues...acne scars, active acne you might want to take a pass on this particular formula as it only highlights those issues. I have oily/combo skin and my skin loves it...if you have dry skin...not a good fit. It will highlight ever dry patch. The lipsticks, blush and liquid illuminators...awesome. Very pigmented and beautiful as far as wear goes. You just can't go wrong with Armani. Not a fan of the primers as they don't hold up in my opinion.

After going to an Armani store, I was told by the person on the counter that Armani ethos is all about luminosity and for people with oily skin thats obviously no good. In this case, I particularly asked about luminous silk foundation. I would still love to try some products :)

Chloe...I have oily combo skin and the Maestro foundation gives me zero grief. The luminous silk transfers something terrible regardless of skin type. The coverage is beautiful but I'd definitely use a primer and a really good setting powder that doesn't give you a matte finish.

Thanks Shelley! I was so gutted when the person on the counter basically said it was no good for me. Ill maybe go ask for a sample. Thanks again! :)
