I've tried a number of face masks over the last year (Indian Aztec clay, andalou naturals pumpkin honey mask, etc). Recently I used the queen Helene mint julep masque as a spot treatment for active pimples. However every time I use a mask my skin develops these little, flesh colored bumps in the areas it is used. It almost feels like a crust on my skin. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Or have you ever had a similar reaction? Tips on clearing this up? Thank you in advance!

The best thing would be to go see a Dermatologist.

I have. I just put ice on it and it goes away eventually. I recommend making your own face masks so you know exactly what's going in it.

It can be irritation, that mask itself contains so many irritants. Discontinue use of the mask, and a warm cloth may help. If you can call your doc or see one I most definitely would in case it is something more.

Thank you ladies! I'm done with that mask and will call my derm. It's probably time for a checkup anyway :)
