I want to buy some makeup brushes but have no idea which ones are worth getting. I heard good and bad reviews about real techniques and sigma but would like some suggestions on brushes that work perfectly. Also a suggestion on a good brush to contour with.

Ecotools, MAC and Inglot brushes work best for me. You should get a duofiber brush: it's good for both cream and powder products, lip brush, two angled brushes (one for eyebrows and one for eyeliner) and an eyeshadow brush :) the are good to start with.
