I'm trying to troubleshoot. You also have to apply it in the direction of growth, then smooth down, then pull not upwards but back, parallel onto the skin. If you did everything, then it might just be your hair. And a professional wax is what will work and be less stressful and painful. Just let somebody else do it for you!

Wait, did you rub them vigorously before using? Because that makes them warmer and it helps with the removal - same thing having a hot shower before should help too.

Oh I'm sorry about that! I guess they work on different kinds of skin and/or hair than yours!

Oh and you must exfoliate to prevent ingrown hairs.

An epilator like the Braun Silk Epil will definitely work, but it hurts so much on the bikini line. the wax strips actually work for me, I'm getting some tomorrow cause I sooo need them right now lol! As for brands, I think you can find Veet, that's the only brand that really works that you might get, otherwise I also like Lycia and Oxy. Anyway if those don't work, a professional hot wax is what you want. If you use an epilator, have a hot shower beforehand to open the bulb pores and facilitate the extraction. It will hurt but you'll have smoother skin and you won't have to keep it up unlike shaving.

I love exfoliating on my bikini line. Like if you make a strawberry banana scrub , and rub it into your skin. It leaves you smelling sweet. I put a little scented natural strawberry oils and banana oils. I get all these oils from amazon I think. I had them for a while.

Shave downwards and thn carefully upward. the after shave really make a difference, so I highly suggest you get one or there also a womens one and smell really good, I just can't remember who make it but its a spray... it might be nair who makes it. Its in the same aisle as the waxing and shaving stuff. I just use after shave bc my husband has plenty of it layn around. The spray its like 6-7$ :/ so yeaa I'm a cheapo, I stick with the after shave :)

I use shea butter , since its hot I wouldnt put too much on. But it can help with sun burns and stuff. More of a natural healer. And THAT makes your legs and arms beyond smooth. I use bath & body works products too. And then when I wanna be creative I make my own creams , butters, ect.

I exfoliate and use mans razor, it work way better than any other razors, and shave upward AND downward. For the bumps and redness I use mans after shave, it stings a lil but only for a few seconds, it better than walkn around with the redness, irritation and bumps lol.

You can use a razor bump cream after to reduce irritation and/or just be sure to moisturize if you shave up.

I had the same problem like you , but what I would do is use a hair removal cream. Rub it on my inner thighs , wait for a few minuted , and then wash it off. It even last longer than regular shaving. I don't even have to do a thing just wash it off. even the hair from the ROOT is gone.
