Has anyone tried the essential beauty oils or wrinkles, eyes, skin, etc instead of buying expensive anti aging creams? If you have, did you like them and see a difference? I have a lot essential oils that work wonders for some ailments such as headaches and ear infections/aches. And I have books that give you recipes for wrinkles, eye treatments, etc. I was curious as roses if its better to do the oils or just buy the expensive creams.

I just got Tarte's maracuja oil and I'm in love. My skin has never looked or felt better. I have heard good things about the argan oil from Josie Maran as well. I only tried some on the back of my hand and it did feel really nice. But I'm happy with my maracuja oil. I think that maybe the oils would last longer in the long run because you need so little, like literally just drops of it for your whole face. But if you have a cream that you like I wouldn't switch unless you find you try an oil and really like it and its about the same price or less than your cream now. I would definitely shop around first and compare. Some people hate argan oil and feel it does nothing for them and vice versa with the maracuja oil. Or if you have recipes then make a small batch and then try them and compare it to results from the cream you use

I've played around with a few...Argan oil only worked great for me as an "eye cream". The standouts for me is the Sunday Riley Transformation Serum (strictly oils) and the Darphin line (which actually has individual oils designed for different skin conditions). I found that to reap the benefits of the oil its best to apply a light moisturizer on top. Wake up the next morning with a baby soft, glowy face (no greaseball glow).
