DIY Eyelid primer? have any of you tried it?

So I am low on money and I refuse to pay a lot of money for something so I went to youtube for a DIY. Usually DIY's don't work for me but this really did help!
The right side is without primer and the left is with the DIY primer. Do you see a difference?

I do realize it's a dark shadow but in person it's a big difference!

This was after 1 hour btw but I think this DIY primer is better than the elf!

Ingredients: Aloe gel, bath and body works warm vanilla sugar, Maybeline BB cream, and Revlon PhotoReady Skinlights in peach light.

I think any type of these products would work...doesn't have to be the exact products which is how i came up with this "recipe" lol

Here is one...the left is without the primer. The one on top is actually quite pigmented already but that's not how the color shows up in the palette. But on the right when I had the DIY primer, It's true to color! The bottom color is pretty much the same but it's more of a creamy look with the primer plus it doesn't fade out like the swatch without it. I think this DIY deserves to go on my blog lol.

A little goes a long way! like all I needed was a dab.
and I have had on some makeup for about 4 hours now and it has not creased yet but I will have to take it off soon lol
