Has anyone ever tried using crushed vitamin c tablets abd shampoo to remove color build up from their hair?

It works if you're only trying to go a shade lighter, mix it up with shampoo and leave it on for a couple hours.

It's very drying. It's best for getting color out, I'd just use a clarifying shampoo or apple cider vinegar rinse instead.
