What can I do to prevent my eyeliner from transferring?? every time I put on black eyeliner (which is almost every day), it transfers to my upper lid and if I put some on my upper waterline, I'll transfers to the bottom!
argh I tried gel liner, pencil liner,even liquid liner and it is always transferring!
Do you have any tricks?!
I'm kinda desperate, love my black liner, it is one of my staple look but it is a pain to keep cleaning my eyes because of the transfer!!

If you look down till it dries you won't get it. I'd get a fast drying formula, like gels dry fastest with the least amount of transfer. But there are fast drying liquids like urban decays 24/7 liquid liner. KVD's tattoo liner dries quick too. I just look down for 20-30 seconds, and then it's usually dry. You can set it with a similar colored eyeshadow, but I don't know how well it works on liquid or pencil.

I tried waterproof, did bit worked.
I have tried black eyeshadow, but it takes away the sharp look that I like... and it is not very pleasant in my waterline!

Maybe I just haven't found the right one yet.. :(
my favorite combination is eye pencil with gel liner to do the cat eye... do you have any recommendations as one which would have fast drying waterproof formula?

I use eye primer over my lid and get a small brush and apply the primer below bottom lash line then Inglot gel liner also apply sephora collection water proof cream liner over it.Inglot is amazing but this weekend at comic con it was very humid so I wanted even more staying power so I added the cream liner over the Inglot gel and everything stayed in place no smudge, no bleeding over, no fading it was eyes of steal lol.

I've really only used a few pencils, I'm not the biggest fan of them. But urban decays 24/7 and makeup forevers are good at staying. I really like Cliniques gel liner but it doesn't dry quickly. The smash box one dries super quick but it's hard to work with lol. Tartes dries quicker, probably the quickest I've had. I've heard the benefit push up liner dries super fast, but it's a pen gel thing so it might not work for you.

If your looking for a great water proof pencil Stila smudge stick water proof eye liner is tops as well and when you use it with gel or cream it's a dark intense finish that last all day. :-)

Yeah I'm not into pen liner, they always seems to stop working earlier...
I never worked with Inglot, not sure where I can get it (I don't have a Sephora near me )will have to try that!!

Inglot isn't sold in Canada except online. I'd check out swatches online though, it'll prepare you haha. It's like seeing it in person, just on somebody else lol. Being in Canada you have to get used to ordering online unfortunately

Yeah we do a lot of products, but some are just online! inglot have very pretty gel liner colors!! I don't know how much is the shipping... I'll have yo check that out!

Seriously the best eyeliner for staying power (besides KVD tattoo liner--2nd place) is Marc jacobs high liner gel crayon. Amazing staying power. I swatched on my hand & it stayed on til the next day after multiple hand washes. Does not budge & I have oily lids!

I used Maybelline's gel liner before ( and its crap. ) This is a swatch I took when I first got it.
My favorite part is that I can do the line ONCE. I don't have to go over and over to get the color to come on darker...
I had to go over maybelline about 5+ times just to get it to show up.

I have this same issue. I always assumed it was because I had hooded eyes and it was hot. I was using stila and the rings appeared everyday. then I randomly tried a physicians formula and there was no rings! no idea what the difference was...
