Not if you're carefull. I love my tweezermans and they don't ruin my lashes. Just make sure to curl before applying mascara.

It all depends on how you use them! If you use your eye lash curler immediately following your mascara for a second curling it'll definitely pull on the lashes and lead to some falling off! But if you're gentile then they can work magic on little to no eyelashes and as a nice "primer" before mascara!

If used incorrectly it can damage your lashes. I have zero issue of lash fallout with mine. Like the other ladies mention....apply mascara after, not before curling and you'll be ok.

I've been using one for 15+ years and had no problems. Definitely use *before* mascara.

No. However, curlers should be made with pliable metal that gives when being pulled down to curl so lashes don't break off and the pad should be changed after a month or two if using it everyday. A good curler that's pliable metal should be replaced every 6 months because the metal will weaken. Shu Umera has the best curler but is no longer sold in the US, however, they just allowed Lancôme to use theirs and put their name on it so if you buy a Lancôme lash curler you are getting a Shu Uemera curler.
