You can't make your hair grow faster, its all genetics. And cutting your hair doesn't make it grow faster either. Just keep your hair healthy by doing masks and not using as much heat.

I was blessed with extremely fast growing hair. But you need to take care of it.
No heat. (Including hair drier!)
Don't use damaging product.
Don't wash it every day.
Don't put it in ponytails for long periods of time. (Why: the ponytail holder can put pressure on the area of hair making it stick which needs you to pull it out.)
Messy buns will also damage your hair.
It's genetics so there is nothin you can really do. But to help it speed, here are some tips.
Get it trimmed every 3-4
Months.
Use coconut oil on your roots every other day 3 hours before you take a shower. Apply liquid coconut oil to the roots of your hair and rub it into your scalp. Then (this may cause a headache, an seem silly) hang upside down for 10 minutes. Then do what you usually do in your life and 3 hours later just take a shower.
I hope I helped! Sorry it was long :)
