Usually when I used my red lip tint and stick, I start with the out line of my lip, sometimes using a q-tip. I do this because red lipstick sort if stains my face so if I'm careful with the edges and get that done I can just fill in the rest of my lip.
Ps
sometimes I add a darker color around the outer part of my lips for a...ombre effect as you will

I do red lips almost everyday and they are a lot of fun but an be tricky. Exfoliate your lips everyday! Then, when you want to wear red lips out on some balm, line and fill in the lips with a red liner pencil, and then later your stain or lipstick. If you want a glossy finish layer either a red gloss or clear gloss overtop, blot with tissue if needed. When yout ske it off at night use a liquid eye makeup remover and put on balm!
