I wanted to try the baking soda trick while brushing my teeth but is it okay to do while havinf braces?

I wouldn't, personally. Not because of safety reasons, though.

You may want to talk to your orthodontist or dentist.

I would be careful because the parts ur braces cover won't whiten

I wanted to do that to but the only thing u can do is use a water pic with mouthwash in it...everything else will cause discoloring when u get them off.
