So I'm going to be a freshman and I need outfit ideas for orientation which is coming up...my style is kind of dark, edgy, badass kind of style but still a little girly if that makes sense. I love black and like plaid shirts kind of like flannels but they're thinner. and I love booties. I know its too hot to wear this stuff, but they are just to give you guys an idea of what I like :) Thanks lovelies!

I just went to mine, and people were actually sort of dressed up for it, despite what everyone else told me. But I guess it's different everywhere. (: I wore leggings and a flowy printed shirt. I think a pair of shorts and a cute shirt would be great! (:

You could also just wear a t shirt, shorts/leggings, and tie a flannel around your waist. Add some converse and you're set!

Yeah I was going to bring that up too, Alexis! Your orientation might sound like a big deal but it honestly isn't. You just go, explore your school, look at your classes, and maybe learn your locker combo. People may dress up for it because you're going to see people that you're soon going to learn with, so a good first impression is best! But don't get too overdressed. I've been to an orientation they're actually boring. So something cute and casual would work, something you wear on a daily basis.

Comfort is best. Especially since there will be tons of people you don't know, you don't want to be in something you're not comfortable in.
My hs orientation half the kids wore pjs lol. I don't remember what I wore, but definitely don't go to over the top unless you'll be dressing up like that everyday for school.

It sounds like we have a similar style. I'd rock a comfy pair of skinny jeans and cute printed shirt. As long as it's comfortable and expresses who you are any outfit will work. I remember my orientation and my suggestion would be make sure to smile! :) Haha.

Wear some denim shorts, a cute graphic tee that suits your style, tie a flannel/ plaid tee around your waist and be comfy :)
