I've never been able to find a foundation to compliment my skin..shoot..I don't even know if foundation is needed?! I've just starting playing around with makeup and I am falling in love with it! I don't even know where to begin. I feel guilty going to a makeup counter and obligated to spend a lot of money that I just can't justify spending on makeup...what to do!

If you purchase any cosmetic from Walgreens, CVS, RiteAid, Sephora, Mac, or Target...if you get home and it doesn't match or you are unsatisfied for whatever reason...you can do a return or exchange...just keep that in mind so you aren't wasting money on products that don't work for you

I don't use foundation because I can't find a color that matches me too. I don't think it's necessary, I actually think foundation is over hyped haha most people don't need it, they just like it. I say go without one! You're not obligated at all to buy makeup when you go to stores or counters. When I go to counters and try stuff out I just tell them I'm testing out how products will react with my skin/how they wear when they confront me about purchasing items. Once you tell them that they'll usually leave you alone haha. Don't let them push you into buying anything you don't want to buy!! It's YOUR money afterall

I've just noticed over the last couple of years (now in my early 30's) my skuntone seems to be different colors in areas? I used to gave an even skintone but now I'm blotchy and rosey and red and blah! its driving me nuts! I wasn't sure if foundation is something that would help or not. I honestly didn't know I could return an open product! learn something new everyday! thank you all!

If I use something and I'm not crazy about it...I try it one more time to see if I can make it work and if I still don't love it...it goes right back to the store...I have saved soooo much money since learning I could return things
Also ask for samples...Sephora is great about giving you a few different samples to try before you make a decision
The girls at my Sephora usually give me samples that I can use more than once...usually 2-3days worth of product
