So.... I'm basically 30 and today I wore glitter..... Like full blown glitter eye liner.... Only I didn't wear it as an eye liner. I just put a bit in the inner corner of my eyelid. I thought it looked great. However, all day I couldn't help but wonder if it was age appropriate. I don't want to be one of those women who dresses 15 and actually looks 40... Mariah Carry.....

I think it's great on all people! Probably not the elderly, but I think it's festive for the holidays :)

I was actually researching this very topic last night because I'm 38 yrs old myself and even though I don't allow society norms dictate how I dress I certainly don't want to look a hot mess either. From pics I saw online I think it would look nice dabbed lightly in the center of our lid on top of a matte shade. I have chocolate brown glitter and I'm thinking of using that with a few matte shades from my Lorac pro palette. I think it gets out of control for any age when the look incorporates a whole lot of shimmer and glitter. Make the eye the focus but keep everything super low key and it will look nice on any age.

Gurl, as long as it looks awesomely done, you'll be perfectly fine no matter how old you are.
