Well if you're not going to get a bunch of color or shading, it won't be enough work to even hurt that bad. Plus, it's not a real bony or tight muscle area so it won't be that bad. I say go for it. Certain spots will hurt like hell. But I don't think the inside of you're forearm will be that bad...

It really depends on how much pain you can tolerate. Nobody can really tell you how you're experience will be because it's different for everyone! But, I did hear that the inside of the forearm is one of the most sensitive areas!

I have four in different areas, they hurt somewhat. My most painful was still tolerable enough for me to be able to sit still the whole time. If you don't want a painful tattoo get a stick on one. I'm not being funny or sarcastic but pain, at whatever level dependent on the area, artist, size, needle and persons pain threshold, is just part of it and if you can't manage it then just avoid it all together :)
Personally I think it feels like someones scraping you with a pin on the same place over and over.

A tattoo isn't going to feel good, so you just have to accept that ;) I've been tattooed 3 times now, and for me, the worst part was the outline. Shading was a piece of cake! Any area near a prominent bone is going to hurt a lot more, but it's really not that bad. And so, so worth it in the end! I'd describe outline work as being lightly cut with a knife, and shading felt like lots of vibrations with a little pin scraping you at the same time.

Mine hurt enough that during my tattoo I thought that I never want another one, but as soon as I was done I was ready to go again!
