Can I use concealer as a eyeshadow primer?

Depends on the type of concealer. If it's thick then I would due to creasing. Now if it's the kind that's made for under eyes and doesn't crease (like MAC prolongwear which I use sometimes as a base) then go for it.

I have a physicians formula concealer that is fairly thin will that work?

Yes I would say that you can :) I do sometimes and nothing bad or unwanted happens.

Get a cover stick! They work great as an eye primer!
