Ulta. Way more selection, with better deals like sale items, free gift with purchase, and bogo. And free samplers with purchase and free shipping on orders over $25. Sephora does have nars, but I feel as if their sale items are still very pricy.

Sephora. Unless you're going into Ulta for the drugstore part too, Ulta and Sephora are priced pretty similarly. I just like Sephora's point system better, although the perks suck and I still haven't chosen a perk despite having almost 1,000 points. Sephora also has the brands I care about more.

Growing up there was always a Sephora around my parents house and Ulta was hard to come by. Now, living on my own, there is an Ulta or two nearby and I just found out we have a small Sephora in our JC Penny but I've never checked it out.

I always miss going to Ulta when I am at my parents house and I always miss Sephora when I'm back in my apartment =(

I enjoy Ulta a bit more for variety, but i love Sephora too!
