You are beautiful. That being said, contouring is not only for enhancing features... It is actually meant for creating the illusion of a more oval shaped face, because of symmetry and stuff... So when contouring your actually supposed to take into consideration your face shape and then contour accordingly. If you like I can post some snapshots from a thread where my makeup mommy Jackie, explained it all...

Hey MaKenzie, I totally understand where you're coming from with the oval shaped face ideal. I, myself, like the shape of my face as it is - I don't really know which shape it is really - but I still use contouring to make my cheekbones pop and not much else. Do you mind sharing the snapshots? I want to learn more! Is it obligatory to make your face look more oval with contouring (an objective thing) or is it really up to each of us and what we want to make pop out or recede (subjective)?
