To try get it close to the lash line lift your eyelid and put it under the lashes.

Maybe on the ends make it taper off if that makes sense, instead of stop with a thick line, the thickness is good in my opinion though. But maybe experiment with different thicknesses and see which looks better for your eyes.

I agree. Make it closer to the lash line (fill the gap) and also don't forget to connect it to your inner corners and outer corners. It just seems like it's jn the middle of the lash line only. Or if you meant to only do it 3/4 of the way (thin it out the innermost part of the liner to make it disappear into the lashes so you can't see where it starts)
